Job summary

Akamai's Enterprise Security Group (ESG) is seeking a Senior Technical Enablement Architect to empower our pre-sales teams, accelerate revenue, and articulate complex security capabilities to executives.

You will own training content, demos, and field feedback, collaborate with Product Management, and guide Sales Engineers through POCs and RFPs in Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, and AI security. Join us to shape how customers secure hybrid, cloud, and edge environments with Akamai's platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in presales, sales engineering or related roles.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and security architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide updates to the pre-sales community on roadmap and product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to create training and content.
• Act as primary technical POC for Sales Engineers on complex inquiries and RFIs/RFPs.
• Analyze feature requests and communicate feedback to Product Management.
• Guide field teams in designing solutions for POCs and strategic deals.
• Develop and maintain product demos with TME and SE teams.
