Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Enablement Architect in the Enterprise Security Group to empower our technical pre-sales teams in positioning and selling Zero Trust, microsegmentation, and SASE/SSE offerings.

You will translate complex security capabilities into business value for executives and field teams. You will partner with Product Management to craft compelling training content, develop impactful demos, and guide sales engineers through complex POCs and strategic deals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of experience in presales, sales engineering, solution architecture, product management, professional services or customer success.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust, microsegmentation, SASE/SSE architectures, and cybersecurity technologies.
• Experience with AI security, cloud platforms, and modern security tooling is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, clear updates to the technical pre-sales community on roadmap, product lifecycle, and key technical information.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to create and deliver impactful sales training and technical content.
• Act as the primary technical POC for Sales Engineers, guiding on complex customer inquiries and RFI/RFP responses.
• Analyze feature requests, propose workarounds, and communicate field feedback to Product Management.
• Guide field teams in designing solutions for complex POCs and strategic deals, ensuring product alignment.
• Develop and maintain product demos with TME and SE teams to showcase the Akamai ESG portfolio.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value narratives for senior and executive stakeholders.
