Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Employment Navigator to support the DOL Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) Transition Assistance Program (TAP) in North Carolina. You will counsel Servicemembers and spouses, assess skills, guide job search, and connect clients with resources while expanding outreach and partnerships.

The role is in-office, requires up to 10% travel, and offers opportunities to mentor others and promote TAP services within the local military community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with TAP experience or a Bachelor's degree with counseling experience.
• Knowledge of civilian workplace translation and job market research.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
• Ability to work with military communities and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Listen to servicemembers and spouses, assess needs, and refine career action plans.
• Provide job search guidance and connect clients with available resources.
• Assist with job matching using vacancy postings and client skills.
• Provide labor market information and advice on applying for jobs.
• Identify credentialing needs and pathways to fill gaps.
