Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Partner to join a leader in Pharmaceuticals & Biotech. You will serve as a trusted advisor on complex ER matters across a fast-paced, multi-state U.S. workforce and manage a broad caseload.

This role requires leading investigations, guiding leaders on performance management and terminations, and partnering with HR to drive fair, compliant outcomes in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field.
• 6–10 years of progressive Employee Relations experience handling a broad caseload.
• Experience supporting a multi-state U.S. workforce.
• Expertise in ADA accommodations and the interactive process.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a varied employee relations caseload from intake through resolution.
• Lead complex workplace investigations, developing strategies and assessing evidence.
• Prepare clear investigation reports and present findings to HR and business leaders.
• Serve as a senior employee relations advisor to leaders in a regulated organization.
• Provide guidance on employee complaints, performance management, and terminations.
• Assess employee relations risk and provide practical, business-oriented recommendations.
• Coach leaders on employee relations best practices and develop training resources.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Employee Relations Partner to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will serve as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations matters across a fast-paced, multi-state U.S. workforce. You will manage a broad caseload, lead sensitive investigations, and partner closely with HR and business leaders to drive fair, practical outcomes that support a compliant and respectful workplace.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $135,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a varied employee relations caseload from intake through resolution
• Lead complex workplace investigations, developing strategies and assessing evidence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employee or Labor Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 6–10 years of progressive Employee Relations experience managing a broad caseload, including complex investigations
• Experience supporting a multi-state U.S. workforce in a fast-paced corporate or sales-driven environment
• Expertise in workplace accommodations and the ADA interactive process, including evaluating requests and recommending accommodations
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and experience advising on performance management and corrective actions
• Demonstrated judgment to resolve employee matters and escalating when necessary
• Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence leaders
