Astound is hiring an HR Manager to partner with leaders on performance, conduct, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. This role focuses on investigations, coaching managers, and driving improvements in engagement and productivity across multi-state operations.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years in ER, strong knowledge of US employment law, and experience with investigations, performance management, and HR systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in employee relations in a multi-state environment.
• Strong knowledge of US employment law, Title VII, ADA, FMLA.
• Experience in investigations in hybrid/remote settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for employee relations, advise managers on performance and discipline.
• Conduct complex workplace investigations and prepare recommendations.
• Advise leadership on ER issues with independent judgement and compliance.
• Develop performance improvement plans with management.
• Collaborate with legal and HR partners on actions and documentation.
• Monitor data trends to drive process improvements and better employee experience.
• Travel as needed to support market needs.
