Job summary

Astound is seeking an HR Manager to partner with leaders on performance, conduct, and discipline, ensuring lawful and consistent practices across a multi-state environment. You will resolve workplace issues, coach managers, and support policy interpretation while maintaining Astound's values.

The role emphasizes investigations, data-driven HR decisions, and collaboration with Legal to manage corrective actions. A Bachelor’s in HR and 5+ years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing complex employee relations across multiple states
• Deep understanding of US federal/state employment laws (Title VII, ADA, FMLA)
• Skilled in workplace investigations and conflict resolution
• Experience with remote/Hybrid work environments
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for employee relations, coaching managers on performance and policy interpretation
• Conduct complex workplace investigations and provide recommendations
• Advise management on ER issues using independent judgement and data
• Develop performance improvement plans with business leaders
• Collaborate with Legal to address corrective actions and documentation
• Travel to support market needs and assist where required
