Job summary

FourLeaf Federal Credit Union in New York seeks a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to lead complex employee relations initiatives, ensure ADA and leave processes are compliant, and uphold policy consistency across states. This role provides expert guidance on progressive discipline and supports leaders with investigations and documentation.

You will collaborate with Legal, Benefits, and HR teams, promoting an inclusive workplace while handling high-impact matters with autonomy and precision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in HR, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in employee relations or HR with progressive experience.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and conflict resolution techniques.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead progressive disciplinary process and advise managers on performance concerns and conflict resolution.
• Investigate employee complaints and workplace issues; deliver actionable recommendations.
• Document employee relations matters and employment decisions to mitigate risk and support compliance.
• Analyze trends from investigations, hotline reports, and turnover to improve leadership effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Benefits for ADA accommodations and leave processes; coordinate return-to-work.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and update policies accordingly.
