Job summary

The Employee Relations Officer role at Taleo oversees coordinating and implementing equitable employee relations across represented groups. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 6 years in industrial or labor relations, or education with hearings or contract negotiations.
• Experience in conducting hearings or serving as a building/union staff representative.
• Experience handling grievances or participating in contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Clarify provisions of collective bargaining agreements for management.
• Serve as liaison between management and labor representatives on contract interpretation.
• Investigate misconduct allegations and recommend actions.
• Render recommendations on suspension, demotion, or termination.
• Provide expert advice on employment conditions under CBAs and policy.
• Review and process grievances and assist with arbitrations.
• Conduct staff development sessions on policy changes and contract interpretation.
• Participate in committees and task forces to reform workplace policy.
