Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Principal Employee Relations Business Partner to shape the ER function at scale. You will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, design enterprise ER frameworks, and lead cross-functional initiatives across HR and legal teams in a hybrid Mountain View setting.

The role emphasizes executive-level matters, organizational health, and data-driven decision making, with collaboration across People & Places and other centers of excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Employee Relations, HR Business Partner, workplace investigations, organizational consulting, or related experience.
• Experience handling highly complex and sensitive employee matters.
• Experience navigating executive-level situations, organizational change, workforce reductions, and culture-related escalations.
• Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree required; J.D./Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking balancing employee experience, business priorities, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on complex employee relations, organizational health, culture, and workforce matters.
• Lead high-risk, precedent-setting situations including executive escalations and large-scale changes.
• Design and evolve enterprise ER frameworks, standards, and operating models.
• Identify organizational risks and sentiment trends using data, insights, and context.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across ER, HRBPs, Ethics & Investigations, Employment Legal, and more.
• Influence organizational strategy by anticipating external trends and internal shifts.
• Drive enterprise consistency in executive matters, terminations, and exits.
• Mentor ER team members and scale expertise across the function.
• Build strong partnerships with executives, HRBPs, legal, and business leaders.
• Use data to diagnose health trends and inform strategic actions.
• Drive innovation with scalable tools and AI in ER.
• Guide conversations and trust-building across teams.
