Job summary

Form Energy is seeking a senior Employee Relations leader to report to the SVP, People. This role builds and runs ER as a new function, shaping strategy, frameworks, and infrastructure while handling a meaningful caseload from day one.

You will work from Weirton, WV and Somerville, MA at least 3 days per week, in a hybrid setup with 4 days onsite. Travel to all locations is required, and relocation assistance is available to support you joining Form Energy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Employee Relations experience.
• Experience building or scaling an ER function from scratch.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment law and investigation methodology.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a high-volume ER caseload including harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and performance disputes.
• Design and stand up Form Energy's ER function from the ground up with intake processes, case management tooling, and playbooks.
• Advise senior leaders on ER strategy, risk, and precedent; translate case trends into proactive recommendations.
• Coach managers to identify ER issues early and provide clear guidance on escalation.
• Develop and maintain HR policies ensuring fair, consistent application and compliance with laws.
• Build reporting to track case trends, cycle times, and outcomes for leadership.
• Collaborate with Legal, EHS, and other People Team COEs to embed ER guidance across the employee lifecycle.
