Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Employee Relations Consultant to manage a broad range of employment matters within a centralized Employee Relations model. You will counsel executives and managers, handle grievances from start to finish, and ensure compliance with policies and laws while partnering with Legal, E&C, and HR COEs.

The role emphasizes proactive risk mitigation, training delivery, and collaboration with segments to support organizational growth and effective workforce management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• Minimum 6 years of related HR experience, focused on employee relations.
• Experience advising leaders and managers on complex employment issues.
• Knowledge of federal/state EEO laws and state HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee grievance processes from initiation to closure.
• Counsel executives and managers on hiring, performance, leave, disciplinary actions, reductions-in-force, and terminations.
• Provide guidance on resolving employee relations issues using progressive discipline.
• Liaise with LOA administrators and Ethics & Compliance on escalated matters.
• Identify trends from case data to inform policy and decision-making.
