Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Employee Relations Investigations Manager to lead a centralized team of investigators in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. You will standardize methodologies, oversee intake with ER/Legal, ensure neutrality, and drive continuous process improvements while balancing risk and employee experience.

You will partner with ER Consultants, HRBPs, Employment Counsel, and senior leadership to triage, execute, and close sensitive investigations with attention to documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of HR experience.
• Experience in conducting workplace investigations, including complex and high-risk matters.
• Experience leading investigators or HR/ER professionals.
• Knowledge of federal and state EEO laws and state HR policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a centralized team of Employee Relations Investigators.
• Standardize investigative methodologies and interview techniques.
• Assign cases based on capacity, complexity, experience, and conflicts of interest.
• Establish neutrality and objectivity in investigations.
• Monitor workload and case progression across the team.
• Oversee intake processes with ER Consultants, HRBPs, Compliance, and Legal.
• Drive continuous improvement in investigation processes, efficiency, and quality.
