Job summary

GSA is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to provide guidance to management and staff on the full range of ER issues, including performance management, discipline, and leave administration. You will help managers implement corrective actions, support recognition programs, and navigate complex investigations across multiple sites.

The role requires presenting findings, advising on appropriate actions, and assisting with supervisory training and ADR to ensure compliant and fair resolutions.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience as an independent Employee Relations (ER) Specialist
• Interpreting and applying statutes, regulations and organizational policies to manage discipline and performance actions
• Managing medical and reasonable accommodation issues and investigations

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance regarding the full range of employee and labor relations issues.
• Advise managers on disciplinary actions, performance management, and leave administration.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and contribute to supervisory training and ADR processes.
