Job summary

Brown & Brown Insurance is seeking a Managing Consultant to provide employee benefits consulting services and lead daily account service for all assigned clients. This role serves as a primary point of contact for client needs and delivers strategic guidance on benefit programs.

You will drive results by managing client activities, preparing for meetings, and independently handling projects, including multi-year plans and financial modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 7 years of employee benefits consulting experience
• Strong client facing and communication skills
• Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Life and Health license in good standing, required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Drive business results through effective client service, management and retention
• Manage day-to-day client activities
• Prepare for and facilitate client meetings
• Independently manage and execute projects
• Manage complex projects, teams and client deliverables
• Support and/or lead the development of multi-year strategic plans incorporating client-specific business needs and objectives
• Understand, update, and create financial models
• Act as a trainer and mentor for consultants
• Develop relationships across internal, client and vendor organizations
