Job summary

Milliman seeks a Compliance Consultant for our Employee Benefits Practice to deliver strategic regulatory and compliance consulting on qualified and nonqualified benefit plans. You will draft plan documents, SPDs, and disclosures, advise on deferred compensation and health and welfare matters, and support corrections through IRS and DOL programs.

You will supervise the Employee Benefits Compliance team and Research group, partnering with clients across industries from corporate to multiemployer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, law, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in employee benefit plans.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRC, and Treasury regulations.
• Experience in law firms, consulting firms, or corporate legal departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Public speaking experience.
• Independent and detail‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review plan documents for qualified and nonqualified plans.
• Draft SPDs and participant disclosures.
• Advise on nonqualified deferred compensation and health and welfare compliance.
• Support IRS and DOL correction programs.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research on benefits questions.
• Oversee EB Compliance team and Research group.
