Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AA Degree or equivalent experience; five years related work.
• Familiar with the social services aspect of The Salvation Army.
• Strong professional communication with clients and regulatory bodies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good English writing and verbal skills; bilingual a plus.
• Ability to drive Salvation Army vehicle.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Completion of The Salvation Army Decision Driving course training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all Case Managers at the Emergency Shelter.
• Assigns and supervises daily work tasks to case managers.
• Manages logs, reports, and client files of shelter clients.
• Develops and maintains HMIS reports for shelter contracts.
• Establishes and maintains housing referral system for clients.
• Ensures clients are meeting with Case Managers twice monthly as required.
