Required are a Bachelor's degree and 3.5+ years of professional emergency management experience, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Three and one-half (3-1/2) years of progressively responsible professional emergency management experience.
• Experience in planning, training and exercise for operations of emergency management.
• Involvement in disaster response, recovery and mitigation.
• Possession of supervisory aptitude or potential.
• Valid driver's license.
• Substitutions described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operations during emergencies and disasters.
• Operate emergency centers and evaluate disaster requirements.
