Job summary

This hands‑on role investigates unexpected results, guides design changes, and ensures robust shielding and grounding in a lab environment.

You will work with product development teams from early design to validation, communicating EMC risk and recommendations to engineers and stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on EMC/ EMI testing experience with product validation.
• Ability to troubleshoot test setups and interpret S-parameters and impedance data.
• Experience working in an engineering lab environment with fixtures and measurement equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication of technical risk and design impacts.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration to influence design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own EMC performance and validation for high‑voltage and high‑speed automotive connector programs.
• Identify EMC risks during design development and recommend changes to shielding and grounding.
• Develop and execute EMC/shielding-characterization plans for connectors and cables.
• Perform hands-on testing using VNAs and related EMC/RF equipment.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and translate findings into actionable design recommendations.
• Collaborate with simulation, design, and lab teams to improve validation processes.
