Molex is seeking a dynamic Resident Engineer to serve as a trusted technical partner to General Motors. In this customer-facing role, you will support the release, validation and ongoing performance of Molex cable assemblies, connectors and high-speed networking solutions used in evolving vehicle architectures.

This position involves regular work from the GM Technical Center in Warren, MI, with collaboration at Molex’s Rochester Hills location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Three+ years of engineering experience supporting product development, customer programs, release, validation, manufacturing, or technical customer interactions.
• Experience working with customers, suppliers, or cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary technical liaison between Molex and GM engineering teams.
• Support sustaining cable assemblies, connectors, and high-speed networking products and related validation tasks.
• Participate in program and wire harness development meetings, advising on design integration of Molex solutions.
• Act as first line of technical support for field and product issues, coordinating investigations and resolutions.
• Lead technical discussions with customer engineers and Molex teams to drive program decisions and execution.
• Manage customer technical requests and program activities through closure with urgency and professionalism.
• Partner with sales/account teams to identify customer needs and help develop future design wins.
