Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team working on missile defense systems. You will support testing and validation of embedded platforms, develop automation frameworks, and contribute to the full software test lifecycle from planning through post-test analysis.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software testing, strong Python skills, experience with test automation, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and HW/SW

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
8+ years in software testing, or 6+ years with MS.
Active secret security clearance.
Experience testing embedded systems and HW/SW platforms.
Strong Python scripting, debugging, and automation skills.

Responsibilities

Support testing and validation activities for embedded systems.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.
Collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineers to ensure quality.
Contribute to post-test analysis and reporting throughout the lifecycle.
