Job summary

Leidos is seeking a talented Embedded Software Test Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team focused on missile defense systems. The role spans testing, validation, and automation for embedded platforms across software, hardware, and network interfaces.

You will develop Python-based test scripts, build automation frameworks, and help integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with software, systems, and hardware engineers to ensure quality, reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 12+ years of experience in software testing, integration, and verification of embedded systems or 10+ years with MS degree.
• Active secret security clearance.
• Experience testing embedded systems and integrated hardware/software platforms.
• Strong Python scripting and debugging skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience mapping requirements to test scenarios and RTMs.
• Experience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark.

Responsibilities

• Support testing and validation for embedded systems.
• Develop Python-based test scripts and automation.
• Troubleshoot across software, hardware, and networks.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineers.
• Ensure quality, reliability, and performance of embedded apps.
