Job summary

Fidus is actively seeking a Senior Embedded Software Designer to lead complex embedded software systems for clients in diverse markets. You will drive BSP-level software development for embedded Linux, RTOS, and bare-metal platforms, while guiding teams and mentoring junior engineers.

You’ll design device drivers, integrate with FPGA SoCs, and collaborate across HW/SW/FPGA to deliver robust solutions. Excellent English communication and a passion for innovation are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BSP-level software development in embedded Linux, RTOS, or bare-metal.
• Strong leadership experience in project teams and architecture.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and assembly for embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded software projects across communication, networking, and video apps.
• Develop BSP-level software for embedded Linux, RTOS, and bare-metal.
• Implement device drivers and manage kernel configurations (Yocto/PetaLinux).
• Design and debug software for FPGA SoCs, integrating with hardware.
• Collaborate on HW/SW/FPGA integration and debugging.
• Mentor multiple designers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Work closely with customers to understand requirements.
