Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for on-site work in the United States. You will develop software for strategic nuclear deterrence, derive requirements, and create UML designs while collaborating with experienced engineers and mentoring juniors.

The role requires a transferable Secret clearance and a STEM degree with 5+ years experience (or an advanced degree with 3+ years).

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• MBSE experience and practice.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government clearance required before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to stakeholders to answer questions and solve technical issues.
• Develop design and implement software that satisfies customer and certification needs.
• Produce high-quality software builds in an integrated test environment.
• Derive software requirements, create UML design diagrams, and code solutions from UML designs.
• Communicate and collaborate with Senior/Principal engineers, mentoring junior engineers.
