Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Senior Software Dev Engineer for the Leo Customer Terminal Software team in Redmond, WA. You will design, develop, and deploy embedded software for Project Leo devices and collaborate with hardware, product, and operations teams to deliver reliable connectivity.

The role requires 5+ years of professional software development, experience with C/C++, Rust or Python, Linux/RTOS, and leadership or mentoring experience.

Competenze

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Mansioni

• Develop embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within the Project Leo system.
• Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirements gathering, design, code, test, and code/test coverage.
• Developing embedded software in C, C++, Rust, Python or other languages
• Have experience with real-time embedded software philosophies and practices
• Have expertise with Linux and/or RTOS
• Review schematics, logic analyzer, and embedded software trouble-shooting techniques.
