RTX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Embedded in McKinney, TX to design, develop and test real-time embedded software for aerospace and defense applications. You will work with systems engineers on legacy and new programs, contribute to robust real-time solutions and ensure mission readiness.

The role requires a STEM degree, 5+ years of experience, proficiency in C++ and RTOS, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Onsite role with potential travel and relocation eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and real-time operating systems is required.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test real-time embedded software for aerospace and defense applications.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to solve integration problems for legacy and new programs.
• Support software life cycle activities from concept through test and maintenance.
