Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for our Aurora, CO campus. You will architect, implement, test, and debug embedded software across FPGA firmware and hardware platforms, with a focus on real-time performance and reliability.

You will work with Product Owners and Chief Engineers in an IPT, applying Lean/Agile practices to ensure quality and timely delivery in a challenging defense environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in embedded software.
• Experience with embedded RTOS and hardware/software integration.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, test, and debug embedded real-time software for firmware and hardware.
• Collaborate within cross-discipline IPT to refine product concepts and ensure measurable quality.
• Mentor less experienced staff and contribute to design reviews.
