What You Will Do

• Support all aspects of the software development life cycle for embedded systems, including concept, requirement, design, development, integration, test and maintenance.
• Provide creative solutions to complex technical system and software integration problems.
• Collaborate closely with Systems Engineers to design solutions that meet end‑user and operational requirements.
• Maintain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance and, if required, a Special Access Program security clearance.
• Work onsite in McKinney, TX and travel occasionally for business purposes.

Qualifications – You Must Have

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Development experience on Linux, VxWorks or other real‑time operating systems.
• Strong object‑oriented programming skills in C++; experience in developing, testing and integrating real‑time software applications written in C++.
• Knowledge of C, C#, Java or closely related languages.
• Working knowledge of computer scripting languages such as Shell, Perl or Python.
• Experience working with multi‑discipline teams.
• U.S. citizenship required for eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications – We Prefer

• Experience working in lab environments with physical hardware (e.g., test benches, simulators).
• Rapid understanding of complex systems and established code bases.
• Experience with Scrum and agile software development processes.
• Experience with DevSecOps pipelines, static code analysis, automated build and test techniques, and test‑driven development.
• Hands‑on experience with Git for version control and GitLab for repository management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with CUDA for accelerating compute‑intensive workloads on Nvidia GPUs.
