Job summary

RTX is seeking software engineers for the Battle Management Software Department in Indianapolis to support embedded aircraft software across the life cycle. You will collaborate with software and systems engineers to design, develop, test, and integrate complex solutions for avionics interfaces.

The role requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, with proficiency in C++, C#, Ada, Python, and Windows. A U.S. security clearance and citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in software requirements, design, development, integration, and test.
• Experience with C++, C#, Ada, Python, and Windows environments; strong OOP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support full software life cycle for aircraft embedded software; design, develop, test and integrate.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and reviews within a multi-disciplined team.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers to meet end-user and mission needs.
