V2X, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Mobile Sensors program at Patrick Space Force Base, FL. You will own the software development lifecycle, from analysis to deployment, supporting COBRA KING radar and related systems for the US Navy missions.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, implement unit and integration tests, and maintain software configuration control. Experience in C++, Linux, embedded environments, and agile processes is required; active Secret

Formación

• BS degree in STEM and 8+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Experience in post processing data analysis (MATLAB).
• 5+ years of software development
• 2+ years of C++ software development using C++11 or higher
• Experience operating within a Linux-based environment.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and CI/CD
• Experience in embedded programming
• Object Oriented Design and Development
• Familiarity with Git, ClearCase, SVN, or similar
• Familiarity with the Python, Perl, BASH, and KSH languages
• Active Secret clearance is required

Responsabilidades

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Devise and implement tests and test procedures, including unit tests and integration tests, and writing test procedures and report.
• Write documentation to describe how code works.
• Investigate issues (using system logs, source code inspection, database querying, etc.).
• Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions.
• Create, review, and/or facilitate statements of work for subcontractor support
• Collaborate with Program Engineering Team for software builds and system enhancements.
• Ensure configuration control on all software deliverables.
