Job summary

V2X Inc is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Mobile Sensors program, responsible for the full software development lifecycle from analysis to deployment, supporting COBRA KING radar and communications systems aboard USNS Howard O. Lorenzen.

The role requires collaboration with engineers and program leadership, strong communication, and readiness to travel CONUS/OCONUS around 10%. Based at Patrick Space Force Base, FL, you will implement tests, write documentation, and ensure system

Qualifications

• Post processing data analysis (MATLAB).
• 5+ years of software development.
• 2+ years of C++ software development using C++11 or higher.
• Experience operating within a Linux-based environment.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and CI/CD.
• Experience in embedded programming.
• Object Oriented Design and Development.
• Familiarity with Git, ClearCase, SVN, or similar.
• Familiarity with the Python, Perl, BASH, and KSH languages.
• Active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software across the lifecycle including analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Support the build and maintenance of program deliverables; identify deficiencies and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with the engineering team and program lead to deliver features and ensure system stability.
