Zusammenfassung

RTX is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Embedded / Radar) to lead software efforts for the Gen4 Tactical Airborne Radar program at the El Segundo campus. You will guide a software team, collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines, and ensure timely delivery of software for the F18 roadmap while maintaining system-level documentation.

The role requires a strong background in C/C++/ADA, experience with RTOS, and a DoD security clearance, with onsite work in El Segundo, CA.

Qualifikationen

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience as Software REA or Software Technical Lead with customer interface.
• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies.
• Development in C, C++, ADA across SDLC.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux/Windows and RTOS environments.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance is required and U.S. citizenship is required.

• Drive progress to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Design, develop, test software for APG-79 radar in an agile/waterfall environment.
• Support system integration of software with hardware.
• Document system architecture and design specifications.
