Reliable Robotics in Seattle is seeking a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer, Radar, to join the Embedded Systems team developing the embedded software for our radar system. You will contribute to a phased array radar technology aimed at safe, scalable flight automation.

The role emphasizes C++ flight software, Python test development, and implementing interfaces for software-to-FPGA pipelines, with a DO-178C framework and an agile workflow.

Competenze

• 8+ years of experience developing C or C++ embedded software.
• 3+ years translating/optimizing complex mathematical algorithms into performant, deterministic embedded code.
• Hands-on experience developing driver-level software for software-to-FPGA interfaces and managing high-bandwidth data pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Mansioni

• Develop C++ flight software requirements, design, code, unit tests, and requirements-based test cases in accordance with DO-178C software development procedures.
• Develop Python-based software integration test cases.
• Focus areas include numerical optimization, networking, protocol drivers, memory interfaces, and software-to-FPGA interface layer.
• Hands-on experience with DO-178 software development environment and Agile processes.
