Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for embedded radar software in El Segundo, CA. You will design, develop, and test software for airborne radar systems, supporting integration with hardware and debugging performance-critical code.

The role requires a Bachelor's in STEM, 5+ years in software, and experience with C/C++, RTOS environments, and DoD-related workflows. Security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• 5 years of relevant software experience.
• Development experience in C, C++, ADA or related languages/tools.
• Experience UNIX/Linux/Windows/RTOS environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software for embedded radar applications.
• Support integration and verification on airborne radar hardware.
• Write documentation covering system architecture and design specifications.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to implement modifications.
