Job summary

RTX Sensors: Space and Air division in El Segundo, CA seeks a Software Engineer II [Embedded / Radar] to join the Gen4 Tactical Airborne Radar team. Onsite position located at 2000 E Imperial Hwy, El Segundo.

You will develop RT embedded software for radar modes, contribute across the software lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. A STEM degree and 2+ years of experience, with C/C++/ADA and Real-Time OS experience, and an active Secret security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2+ years of software development.
• Experience coding in C, C++, ADA or related languages across the SDLC.
• Experience with UNIX, Linux, Windows, VxWorks or Green Hills RTOS.
• Active and transferable U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop RT embedded software for radar modes and capabilities.
• Contribute across all phases of the SW development lifecycle including SW/HW integration.
• Work with cross-functional teams across internal and external groups.
• Participate in program and customer reviews and meetings.
• Support technical decision making and ensure performance against cost, schedule and quality.
