Wabtec Corporation is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to join the LOCOTROL SW Team. You will design, develop, integrate, test, demonstrate, and maintain embedded software for freight locomotive control platforms using C/C++ on varied embedded targets.

The role emphasizes design and integration for Next Gen platforms with RCS products, requiring extensive RTOS/bare metal experience and a strong software engineering foundation. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, CS, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain embedded software components for LOCOTROL platforms.
• Program in C/C++ for embedded systems, requirements through production deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers as needed.
• Design, implement, and test software to meet product specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews.
• Collaborate with PMs, System Engineers, Architects, and test teams.
