Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the Software Engineering team.

The role reports to the Director of Software Engineering and involves working on the company’s radios and advanced research projects, touching device drivers, networking functions, encryption, and security features. Hybrid schedule requires a minimum of 3 days on site weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or relevant fields.
• 5+ years of embedded system software development experience.
• Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.

Responsabilités

• Implement software for MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
• Develop network management software and web interfaces.
• Implement security protocols and encryption algorithms.
• Develop audio streaming and push-to-talk voice applications.
• Analyze and improve product security to meet regulatory requirements (NIST FIPS 140-3, NIAP).
• Create testing software for performance and reliability testing.
• Develop device drivers and BSPs for ARM and RISC-V systems.
• Customize Linux and scripting tasks.
