Our client, represented by Kingfisher Recruiting, seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to radios and advanced research projects. Qualifications include a BS in EE/CS, 5+ years in embedded software, and C with Linux kernel driver experience. U.S. citizenship and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contracts; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Implement software for MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing.
• Develop network management software and web interfaces.
• Implement security protocols and encryption algorithms.
• Develop audio streaming and push-to-talk voice applications.
• Analyze and improve product security to meet NIST FIPS 140-3 / NIAP criteria.
• Develop and test device drivers and BSP for ARM and RISC-V platforms.
• Customize Linux systems and create shell scripting utilities.
