Job summary

Our client is seeking a full-time Senior Embedded Software Engineer reporting to the Director of Software Engineering on the Software Engineering team.

The successful individual will participate in the development of The Clients radios and advanced research projects, tackling device drivers, networking functions, encryption, and security on a hybrid schedule with at least three days onsite weekly (Mon, Wed, Thu).

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in EE or CS or related field.
• 5+ years embedded software experience.
• Proficient in C and Linux kernel drivers.

Responsibilities

• Implement software for MAC and mobile ad-hoc routing protocols.
• Develop network management software and web interfaces.
• Implement security protocols and encryption algorithms.
• Develop audio streaming and push-to-talk voice apps.
• Enhance product security to meet NIST FIPS 140-3 and NIAP criteria.
• Develop testing software for performance and reliability.
• Create device drivers and BSPs for ARM and RISC-V.
• Customize Linux systems and scripting.
