Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC has an opening for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. You will work on the radios and research projects, touching device drivers, networking, security, and encryption.

The role is hybrid with at least three onsite days weekly (Mon, Wed, Thu). You will contribute across MAC, networking, security protocols, audio apps, and Linux-based BSPs on ARM and RISC-V systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.

Responsibilities

• Implement the software portion of MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
• Develop network management software and web interfaces.
• Implement security protocols and encryption algorithms.
• Develop audio streaming and push-to-talk voice applications.
• Analyze and improve product security to meet standards like NIST FIPS 140-3 and NIAP CC.
• Create testing software for performance and reliability assessments.
• Develop and maintain device drivers and BSP for ARM and RISC-V.
• Customize Linux systems and write scripts.
