Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in the Los Angeles area for a hybrid role with at least 3 days on-site. You will work on drivers, networking, security, audio streaming, and system-level developments for radios and advanced research projects.

You will implement MAC and routing protocols, network management, and encryption algorithms, while ensuring robust security and compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires a U.S.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required.
Minimum 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.

Responsibilities

Implement software for MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
Develop network management software and web interfaces.
Implement security protocols and encryption algorithms.
Develop audio streaming and push-to-talk voice applications.
Analyze and improve product security to meet regulatory requirements (NIST FIPS 140-3, NIAP).
Develop testing software for performance and reliability testing.
Create device drivers and BSPs for ARM and RISC-V based systems.
Customize Linux and write scripts.
