Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer with Fire Control experience for a 100% onsite role in Sterling Heights, MI.

You will develop and support embedded application software for a new ground combat vehicle program, covering SDLC activities, architecture, and CSCIs integration. Key tech includes C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Git, Bitbucket, VxWorks, Linux, RTOS, DDS, Kafka, CAN, TCP/IP, UDP/IP, TSN, NGVA, UKGVA, FACE.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of embedded software engineering experience.
• Fire Control experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and test a new software development environment.
• Develop embedded software across vehicle domains (board support, displays, power management, diagnostics).
• Perform software requirements analysis and documentation.
• Develop preliminary and detailed software designs to meet standards.
• Code and integrate software across CSCIs into vehicle releases.
• Develop test procedures and perform unit/functional testing.
• Hardware/software integration and debugging throughout SDLC.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, PM, QA, and other units.
• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily Scrum, PI planning, retrospectives).
• Provide status updates to software project leads.
