Amazon Leo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the Customer Terminals Software stack, spanning BSP, kernel, networking, device management, and applications for satellite ground terminals. You will shape architecture, mentor teams, and collaborate with hardware, RF, and product groups to ensure scalable, secure systems operating across demanding environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsabilités

• Own long-term software architecture for customer terminals, spanning board bring-up, BSP, kernel, networking stack, device management, and application layers.
• Partner with hardware, silicon, RF, antenna, networking, and product teams to drive hardware/software co-design decisions across SoC selection, RF integration, power management, thermal constraints, and satellite link optimization.
• Serve as the technical lead on the most demanding, cross-functional problems and multiply team effectiveness.
• Define best practices for the software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and operations.
• Lead architecture and delivery of mission-critical embedded software for high-volume consumer devices.
