Amazon Leo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead Customer Terminals Software, defining architecture across BSP, kernel, networking, and device management for high-volume satellite ground terminals.

You will collaborate with hardware, RF, and product teams, drive engineering excellence, mentor engineers, and deliver robust, scalable software that meets ambitious planetary-scale requirements.

Competenze

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of complex systems.
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead on engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Own long-term software architecture for customer terminals across BSP, kernel, networking, and apps.
• Collaborate with hardware, RF, antenna, and product teams on hardware/software co-design decisions.
• Lead as the technical lead on cross-functional problems to boost team productivity.
• Define software development lifecycle best practices and drive quality metrics.
• Lead architecture and delivery of embedded software for high-volume devices.
