Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in EE/CE/CS from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of experience developing embedded software/firmware for industrial products.
• Minimum 5 years in technical leadership roles involving embedded software and hardware/software integration.
• Experience developing embedded software in C/C++ and working with RTOS or embedded Linux.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Define robust software and system architectures for Eaton’s energy metering and power quality products.
• Provide technical leadership for embedded software development in C/C++ across bare-metal, embedded Linux, and RTOS platforms.
• Translate customer needs into product and software requirements and drive compliance with metering standards.
• Lead development and integration of high-precision measurement algorithms and power quality analytics.
• Guide secure communications and platform integration across multiple protocols and APIs.
• Collaborate with product management, firmware, hardware, verification and validation, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
