Job summary

Eaton's PCS Group Advanced Technology Team seeks a Hardware Electronics Engineer to lead embedded hardware architecture and development for power electronics based circuit protection products. The role is onsite in Moon Township, PA with a hybrid option (3 onsite/2 remote), offering relocation within the US and sponsorship where eligible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience developing embedded hardware for electronic devices.
• BS in Electrical Engineering (or relevant related degree) from an accredited institution
• Relocation benefit is offered for US candidates

Responsibilities

• Define top level electrical architectures and reusable embedded platforms in alignment with product roadmaps and VOC
• Lead the electrical embedded hardware portion of designs for solid state/power electronic circuit breakers
• Conduct circuit simulation to verify operation and test boundary conditions
• Develop product technical requirements with marketing and application teams
• Coordinate PCBA layout designs with PCBA personnel ensuring industry standards and certifications
• Create electrical designs compliant with agency regulations and plan detailed schedules and reviews
