Job summary

Eaton’s PCS Group Advanced Technology Team is seeking a Hardware Electronics Engineer to join our fast-paced group in Moon Township, PA. This role is onsite with a hybrid option (3 onsite/2 remote) and includes relocation sponsorship within the US.

You will lead embedded hardware architecture and development for power electronics-based circuit protection products, including embedded processing, drivers, power supply, metering, and interfaces across AC/DC applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience developing embedded hardware for electronic devices.
• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Relocation benefit is offered for this position within the US.

Responsibilities

• Define top level electrical architectures and reusable embedded platforms in alignment with product roadmaps and VOC.
• Lead electrical embedded hardware portion of designs for solid state/power electronic based circuit breakers.
• Conduct circuit simulation to verify correct operation and test boundary conditions.
• Develop product technical requirements by working with marketing and applications teams.
• Coordinate PCBA layout designs with PCBA personnel complying with industry standards and certifications.
• Plan work in detail at individual level and as technical lead with schedules, designs, tests and issue tracking.
