Job summary

Eaton Corporation's PCS Group Advanced Technology Team in Moon Township, PA is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive the design and development of embedded electronics for power electronics‑based circuit protection products. The role is onsite with a hybrid option (3 days onsite, 2 remote) and sponsorship/relocation assistance is available for US/PR residents.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum 4 years of experience developing embedded hardware for electronic devices.
Experience developing circuit schematics and conducting electronic simulation.
Experience working with oscilloscopes and power supplies to verify circuit performance.

Responsibilities

Lead sub-system electrical embedded hardware design for solid state/power electronic‑based circuit breakers and coordinate PCBA layouts with dedicated personnel.
Develop product requirements with marketing and applications teams; specify and test at PCBA, component, and system levels; ensure compliance with agency regulations.
Conduct design reviews; plan schedules, requirements, designs, test plans, and issue tracking; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
Perform technical research; collaborate with Eaton labs and external resources; drive innovation and contribute to IP; support career growth in electrical design.
