Job summary
Amazon is seeking Senior Embedded Software Engineers to develop next-generation robotic systems that integrate AI, control, and mechanical design for large-scale automation. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and push the boundaries of robotic manipulation, navigation, and perception in a fast-paced R&D environment.
The role requires strong C/C++, RTOS and Embedded Linux experience, plus leadership skills to mentor others and guide architecture decisions,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field required.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years leading design or architecture of systems.
- Experience mentoring or leading an engineering team.
- Embedded development experience in C/C++ and RTOS/Linux.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain novel robotic systems and architectures.
- Own features from design through validation and field issues.
- Participate in design reviews and support team decisions.
- Provide feedback and develop innovative solutions in R&D.
- Cross-domain ramp across networking, sensors, and control systems.
