Job summary
Amazon.com Services LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and debug modern robotic systems. You’ll work across bare-metal/RTOS and Linux kernel-level work, balancing performance and reliability in a fast-paced R&D environment.
You will own features end-to-end, contribute in design reviews, mentor teammates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of robotic manipulation and perception at scale.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in embedded development with C/C++.
- Proficient in RTOS firmware and/or Embedded Linux.
- Strong debugging and system-level analysis skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robotic systems, design architecture for complex projects.
- Own features end-to-end from design to validation and field issues.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to team decisions.
- Provide feedback during peer reviews and drive innovative solutions.
- Learn new domains quickly across networking, sensors, and control tasks.
