Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
• 5+ years of programming in at least one language.
• 4+ years leading design/architecture of systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience developing software for robotic/complex mechatronic systems.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python with production-grade software.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time sensor data processing pipelines and sensor fusion models for robotic perception.
• Develop and optimize multi-modal data recording pipelines for high-bandwidth sensor data.
• Create physics-realistic simulations for sensor types (LiDAR, Radar, IMU, force/torque, tactile).
• Design, develop, and maintain production software for robotic systems in C++ and/or Python.
• Work with sensor integration, networking, safety systems, and real-time actuation on robotic hardware.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex system-level issues across software, firmware, and hardware boundaries.
• Develop solutions balancing performance, reliability, and maintainability under senior guidance.
